Habitat for Humanity quilt

I was recently invited by Jamie Fingal to participate in helping furnish some new homes in San Juan Capistrano through the auspices of Furnishing Hope, a non-profit that works with interior designers to decorate and furnish homes for Habitat for Humanity.  We were given our choice of “styles,” based on what each family liked.  Because I love earth colors, I chose the “Pottery Barn” style for a family who is going to use earth colors and black furniture.  It has been a pleasure making this little 12″ x 16″ wall hanging, knowing that it will go in someone’s brand new home.
